Story begins in 2007 when I got married and met my husband Ali who is from Lahore Pakistan, turned out to be a big time foodie. For all his entertainment, fun, chats, new ideas and even down moments, food plays an important role. Basically it means food including snacks, instant or slow cook, fried or healthy is all very welcomed and literally anytime during 24 hours. Obviously when you are frequently listening and talking about food, you end up experimenting a lot of recipe books, chats with your Mum/friends and learn advance level techniques to be able to cook food like lamb paye (stew like aromatic, rich, spicy curry with super soft lamb feet).

Fast forward to the stage when I have a couple of children in the house and had to cater for ‘three’ kids including hubby. Managing school runs, quick easy to cook yet healthy and tasty school/office meals made me think like the ‘Masterchef of the House’. That’s when I developed a lot of recipes to meet the tastebuds of my house which gave me a thought that why not I start sharing my beautiful and great food experience with others online as a blog and I discussed with Ali (obviously a free web designer available for me), he loved the idea and we together came out with a name which is now SaltPepperandMasala.com

Enjoy exploring our lovely curry blog with lots of authentic Indian and Pakistani style cooking recipes for everyday meals, occasional cravings or parties.

Thank you 🙂
